Microgrid technology is an important part of the smart grid, providing technical support for the reliable integration and full utilization of renewable energy and distributed generation.
With the advent of distributed energy in low-voltage distribution systems, direct supply of these energy sources to local loads, that is, the form of micro-grids is becoming a reality, and different micro-grid architectures will emerge in the near future. The microgrid can operate in island or grid-connected mode, and different control technologies will achieve smooth operation of the microgrid.
